The mission in the Eastern region includes
1. Promoting collaboration between educational institutions and the Office of the Higher Education Commission and the Commission on Higher Education in developing the quality of education.
2. Facilitating the connection between educational institutions in the Eastern region and the production and service sectors at both local and national levels.
3. Encouraging educational institutions in the Eastern region to actively participate in societal responsibilities.
